Towards the end of January I got to fly out to visit some friends of ours who live in Pennsylvania. I flew
all by myself!! I mostly did it because I felt I should step out of my comfort zone and do something by myself. I did it and I was totally fine! I'm proud of myself for stepping out and sticking through with it!
I flew into New Jersey, and when Dan and Heather picked me up we took the train to New York City!! It's still surreal to me. Did I really see Times Square and The Statue of Liberty and everything?!? Yes, I did!!
I also got a taste of Pennsylvania coal country, which was weird because it's definitely different than where I'm from, but really fascinating too. And the hills!! So pretty!!
