Cute Brother(s) and Sister(s)*

Julia is being soo cute.

She asked where she should put an eraser.
"Do you have a bag?"
When I said "no", she put it on my shelf. So I looked and found a little crocheted bag from Guatemala. I gave it to her and told her told her to put the eraser in it.
She put it in the bag and said, "Me put it away."
I told her she could keep it, but she put it back on my post.
After a while she stated, "Me take 'raser out and put it on your shelf."  
So she got the bag, took the "raser" out, put it on my shelf, and talked while doing the thing, "Zip it up...Put it away."

Next she found a toy cash register and used the scanner as a phone.
In a couple minutes, she said to me, "You talk."
"Who is it?" I asked.
After thinking about it, she replied, "Mrs. Bentz."

Lastly, when I retrieved her little coin purse out of her crib, she unzipped it and out came her feather boa! I don't know if she put it in there, but whoever did must have really crammed it! Then she took some monopoly money she found in the cash register and stuck it in the purse saying, "Put the money in the 'turse'."

She is soo adorable. It's so much fun having, at the least*, two very adorable little people in our house; Joseph, with the very cute face, and Julia, who also looks cute, with her very adorable words and actions.

*Almost all of my little brothers and sisters do things I think are cute, but they wouldn't agree, so I won't call them cute.

Here's a picture I took of a crepe I had for lunch one of these days, because I thought it would look good on my blog.

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...

Today is the 1st anniversary of Katherine and my baptisms!  I can't believe it's been a year.

It snowed on Thursday, and I was missing the internet, because I wanted to post that it was snowing. :(( I know that once the internet is on, I will have about 5 gazillion e-mails (at the moment probably about 90). I have a million things to do when it gets back on, and as I pointed out to Josiah, "Can you imagine how much computer time we have built up??"

I am passing the time by knitting (and crocheting) Christmas presents (14 out of 20, finished!), doing school (or perhaps that should be first?), doing chores, and spending waaaay too much time playing solitaire on the computer. I have also been waiting quite impatiently, about as long for the internet,  for my Interweave Knits magazine to come.

I have also recently received a package of yarn that I bought. Yay, Christmas presents!!!!

Still waiting...on the internet as well as my magazine. I've been knitting quite a lot lately, while playing not as much solitaire. We just started Treasure Island this week for school, and I like it. It is much more interesting than some of the books we have read. Well, I have to leave to get Julia dressed.

I don't have too much to say today. The mail hasn't come today yet, so I don't know if my magazine is coming today or not. I have knitted 2,768 stitches on a blanket for our family the past few days. We also had some friends over for dinner last night and had a great time!

Happy Birthday Joseph!!

Joseph Adam White was born this morning at 2:26 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20" long. We are all very happy. Julia keeps saying, "He's so cute!"

Stephen's golden birthday was on Friday, and we gave him 18 groups of 18 golden things. I gave him a golden braid with 18 strands, Anna gave him a yellow bookmark with 18 rows, Johnathan made an 18 with 18 yellow legos, and we also gave him 18 yellow pushpins, 18 pencils, 18 yellow post-it notes, 18 honey mustard pretzels, 18 vanilla wafers, 18 paper clips, 18 lemonheads, 18 yellow peanut M&M's, 18 yellow M&M's, 18 cornbread crackers, 18 corn squares, 18 caramels, 18 yellow rubber bands, 18 golden raisins, and 18 gold chocolate coins. We played Settlers of Catan with Uncle Rick and Uncle Nick until four in the morning.

On Saturday Mom's water broke and Grandma and Grandpa took all of us kids to Chili's for Stephen's birthday. They left soon afterwards. I hope they will come soon to see Joseph.

Today we had the Thanksgiving service at church and a dinner afterwards. Mom, Dad, Kristian, Julia and Joseph stayed home. We just finished watching Bolt about twenty minutes ago. I think it's cute and funny. I love Mittens, the cat.
